Georgia Wins Second Consecutive Men’s NCAA Tennis Title
The Georgia Bulldogs made it two in a row on Tuesday, besting the University of Texas in the finals of the NCAA Tennis Championships in Tulsa, Okla.
This is UGA’s sixth national men’s tennis championship, but the first they have won without a homecourt advantage. The previous five national championships came on the home courts of Athens.
Georgia is the first team to repeat as champions since Stanford won four in a row from 1995-98.
