Birmingham has spoken up on my blog, so it’s only fair to mention the Davis Cup for Bubba web site at www.daviscupforbubba.com.  This move to get the match in Birmingham is sponsored by the Rick & Bubba Show, a radio show by Rick Burgess and Bill “Bubba” Bussey, two deejays who claim to be ”The Two Sexiest Fat Men Alive!”  If Birmingham wins, I hope it doesn’t mean that Taylor Hicks would sing the National Anthem. The announcement from the USTA about the next site is expected Dec. 18.
