Davis Cup Birmingham Order of Play: Chiundinelli Gets the Call
The draw ceremony took place in Birmingham today, and Marco Chiundinelli, childhood friend and junior opponent of Roger Federer, got the call to replace his old buddy in singles over Stephane Bohli. Chiundinelli has a strong 4-2 Davis Cup record with big wins over Spain in 2007.
Stanislas Wawrinka will play singles and doubles, starting with James Blake on the first match Friday, teaming with Yves Allegro in doubles against the Bryan brothers on Saturday, and Roddick in the first match on Sunday. Roddickand Wawrinka on Sunday has big potential if the Swiss can manage to get a win in one of the first three matches.

Saturday:
R3 – B.BRYAN / M.BRYAN (USA) v. Y.ALLEGRO / S.WAWRINKA (SUI)
Sunday:
R4 – A.RODDICK (USA) v. S.WAWRINKA (SUI)
R5 – J.BLAKE (USA) v. M.CHIUDINELLI (SUI)
