Why No Wimbledon Pre-Coverage on NBC, ESPN, Tennis Channel?
The Super Bowl gets about 12 hours of pre-game nonsense. But the Wimbledon men’s final has nothing on American TV. (I just listened to pre-match interviews with Roddick and Federer on Radio Wimbledon.) Shouldn’t someone come on about an hour before and give us some lead up to the match? Why can’t Tennis Channel do that? At the very least, play a classic Wimbledon match, instead of a random old Fed Cup match.
