Isner, Roddick into the Third Round; Odesnik Falls

Two more of the Americans fell Wednesday in Australia — Blake and Wayne Odesnik — but two more moved onto the third round.  John Isner won, meaning Andy Roddick won’t be the sole American in the third round.  Isner next will play Gael Monfils, while Roddick goes against Feliciano Lopez.

Today’s matches for the Americans see Donald Young against Lleyton Hewitt — this could be huge for Young, whose career has been on a downard spiral.  Also, another American on the comeback trail, Taylor Dent, plays Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
